Chugging away
Mathilde has been doing a bang up job as she continues cranking through the first pass of this edit. Of course, we're under a crazy time line, not unlike that for production, but we're going to plow ahead and hopefully get this think to a first cut in the next 4 weeks or so. When I look at this footage, I still can't believe we got so much crammed into 25 days.
I also want to say thanks to all those that have been wishing me well after the wrap. You guys make this crazy career choice all worth while. Stay tuned for more picts.

I am a reference librarian in central New York. One of our patrons would like to know if Solstice and the Scandinavian film on which Solstice is based originated originally as a book or was the film developed strictly based on a screenplay. Thanks for any info you can offer.

And congratulations on the wrap.
P.S. Sorry for the redundancy in "originally originated". I started two separate sentences.
That's awesome! Any updates as to when we can expect to see this film in theaters? I can't wait.
Solstice was based on the film "Midsommer."
We're not sure when it will be released yet. Still editing.

I've just come across this site - where have I been? Heard about this film a wee while back and thought it sounded interesting. Looking forward to it even more now. Will keep popping back for updates.
I came across this a while ago, apparently and decided to finally comment on it. The movie sounds like a cool plot idea even though there is not that much convealed yet. Is there any idea when this movie is supposed to come out? Because I would like to watch it, actually ^^
